Price calculators and quote forms.

Buli Studio builds price calculators, quote forms and booking tools for websites. A calculator helps visitors explore a price; a quote form collects the details you need to answer. We choose the approach around how your service is actually sold.

A calculator or a quote form?

A price calculator suits a service with rules you can explain: choices, quantities and extras that determine an estimate. It gives the visitor useful information before they contact you. The result should make clear whether it is an estimate or an agreed price and what it includes.

A quote form suits work that needs an individual assessment. Instead of asking the visitor to write everything from scratch, it can guide them through the details needed for a useful response. The two can also work together: an estimate first, then a request for a confirmed quote.

What we need before building

Bring your current way of preparing a quote, including the cases that are difficult to price. We use it to agree on the questions, calculations and handover to your business. A short example quote is often more useful than a long feature list.

  • The choices and quantities that affect the price.
  • What the estimate includes and which exceptions need a personal quote.
  • The contact details needed to answer an enquiry.
  • Where requests should arrive and whether another system is involved.
  • The languages your customers need.

Example: Kantovoima’s moving website

The Kantovoima site combines an instant price calculator with a quote flow and three languages. It is a practical example of giving a visitor a way to explore a service and continue towards an enquiry in the same journey.

NB-Palvelut uses service pages and quote requests. It shows the other approach: explain the work first, then give the visitor a clear route to ask about their own project.

Test the key flow with a free demo

We can demonstrate a key interaction before you commit to implementation. You can assess whether the questions make sense and whether the next step is clear. The demo is always free.

For the paid implementation, we agree on pricing rules, integrations, scope, price and schedule. Testing should cover ordinary inputs, missing details and cases that need a manual quote. Any later changes to the pricing rules need to be reflected in the tool too.

Frequently asked questions

Can a calculator be added to an existing site?

We can assess the existing site and how the tool would fit into it. The implementation and any integration work are scoped before paid work starts.

Does the calculator have to give a final price?

No. It can show an estimate and lead to a request for a confirmed quote. The wording and pricing rules should make that distinction clear to the customer.

Can the tool work in more than one language?

Yes. We can agree on the languages as part of the project. Kantovoima’s website is an example with three languages.
